Tim Brancheau, Founder, is a Certified Energy-Procurement Professional with the Association of Energy Engineers and a Texas Public Utility Commission Certified Aggregator.
Before founding GreenBranch Energy, Tim served for 20 years as an account manager for TXU Electric and Gas, where he consulted with customers concerning electricity use, determined facilities requiring service and coordinated construction of customer facilities.
Tim founded Brancheau Energy Solutions in 1999 to prepare clients for electric deregulation in Texas. Brancheau then founded Greenbranch Energy in 2012 and began consulting with clients on energy savings and LED lighting technology.
Active in civic affairs, Tim is a former member of the City Council of Coppell, Texas. He has also served as member and chairman of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce board of directors and as president of the Coppell Exchange Club. Tim holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in business from the University of North Texas.

Charles, Co-Founder, brings 15+ years of Energy Consulting expertise to GreenBranch Energy, specializing in electricity and natural gas procurement, demand reduction strategies, and solar energy solutions.
With both a B.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of North Texas, his foundation in financial and operational strategy has made him a trusted advisor to commercial and multifamily clients across Texas.
As the founder of GreenBranch Energy’s Multifamily Division, Charles was solely responsible in shaping the company’s approach to serving apartment communities, delivering tailored energy solutions that reduce cost, increase sustainability, and improve operational efficiency.
Outside of work, Charles is deeply rooted in the East Dallas community. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters and actively contributes to local causes. He currently serves on the board of the White Rock YMCA and remains committed to supporting programs that strengthen families and neighborhoods in the area.
